Just to produce one device, around 80 kg of CO2 are emitted, an enormous amount if we consider that over 1 billion are produced in the world every year.

Biodiversity + Wildlife
Learn about Native Species
The world is full of unique species. I will spend 10 minutes each day learning what the native plants and wildlife are in my region.
Biodiversity + Wildlife
Leave No Trace
I will respect and protect biotic communities by practicing the seven principles of Leave No Trace whenever I am outside.
Biodiversity + Wildlife
Use Reusable Bags
Plastic bags can be mistaken for food by many wild animals and can end up in habitats that harm wildlife. I will not accept any disposable bags when making purchases, including produce bags.

TAKE PICTURES AND SHARE ON LINKEDIN

Action Track: Community
ATTEND THE ECOCHALLENGE CONSERVATION WEBINAR
On Wed 24th April, I will attend the Earth Month Ecochallenge Webinar on Conservation to learn about what individuals, companies and other organizations can do to promote biodiversity and nature protection.

Simona Vinardi 4/08/2024 12:06 AMIt is estimated that the production of just one smartphone involves the use of 13 tons of water and 18 square meters of land.
We should be aware of this parameter when we decide to purchase a more advanced device -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBiodiversity + Wildlife Leave No TraceEducator Stephanie Kaza advises her students to focus on what they care about most when addressing the enormity of ecological problems. Is there a specific area you feel particularly called to work on?
Simona Vinardi 4/07/2024 11:56 PMHave you ever thought about how much CO2 our smartphones or tablets produce?
Just to produce one device, around 80 kg of CO2 are emitted, an enormous amount if we consider that over 1 billion are produced in the world every year.-

I saw this in the sky this morning when I was going to work by bike: is it a sign from the High?-
Fabrizio Riva 4/18/2024 3:48 AMA "X" could be a signal, which suggests to stop something you are doing, only you can know what its' about.

White vinegar is an excellent ally in household cleaning: I use it in the washing machine instead of fabric softener (which is very polluting), to clean windows diluted with water, or in its pure state in case of encrustations instead of anti-limescale -

Ever since I was a child my parents got water to drink from public fountains; this is a practice that I continue to do even now, in fact we have organized ourselves with 5 liter glass bottles and go to get water to drink.

This type of bag was used in the past mainly to carry water or milk bottles, but it also had other uses such as shopping bag! I use it to take my lunch to work -

It is well known that in Italy we love espresso coffee, I have a coffe espresso machine at home .
I reuse coffee waste by mixing it with coconut oil to make facial masks.
Coconut oil has multiple uses both in cooking and in cosmetics; coffee waste has antioxidant and toning properties.
I also use coffee waste as fertilizer for plants: it's wonderful, you have to try! -
