    I can't remember the last time I purchased a water bottle. I even make sure to pack my reusable one when I travel and fill up at the water fountain before a flight if I have to travel for work.

    I've incorporated more native plants into my yard. Traditional grass takes so much water and native plants and grasses also make the bees so much happier!

    I think my biggest carbon impact is through my spending habits. Having a full time job can make it harder to spend the time I'd like reducing the amount of commercial products and single use plastics I buy.     Helping cleanup my community seems like a no brainer. As someone who already walks or runs on an almost daily basis, it's practically a given to help clean up what is essentially my "backyard". I keep gloves and a collapsible tote with me to easily pick things up along the way!

    I'm lucky to live in a city that offers composting as part of our waste management! We have reduced our garbage significantly by simply composting food scraps. Pretty cool.

    We regularly use glass straws, they're more durable than they sound, and are dishwasher safe!
