SHARED RESPONSIBILITY (PLUS BONUS POINTS). Taking action to protect our planet is part of my social responsibility. As cohabitants of the earth, each of us has a fair share of keeping it sustainable for us today and future generations.
And taking part in Ecochallenge not only provides the opportunity to fulfill the responsibility and learn more about conservation but also makes the journey fun and exciting!

We had a plant powered happy hour today with a plant-based charcuterie board, local kombucha and we traded plant cuttings and seeds!

    • Where did you get the charcuterie from? I'd love to work with them. YAY!

Hi Liz! Our WSP colleagues bought the cheese at Cultured Kindness and the fig-based sausage, and the rest at a regular grocery store and then they made that beautiful board themselves!!

I bike commute to work 8 miles roundtrip daily... also replaced the front exhaust oxygen sensor on my car (which I rarely use).

On weekends I carry an 'extend-a-claw' and a large dog-food bag to collect litter while I walk wherever my dog wants to go (~2 miles)

As we come to the end of Earth Month, I feel fulfilled in the positive impacts I've made for the planet this month, and motivated to make sure that this month is not the last month that I live with my environmental footprint in mind. Thank you, WSP, for getting involved in such a wonderful initiative as the EcoChallenge!

Sometimes I'm out hiking, and I come across mylar ballons that have flown out into the mountains. I pick them up and dispose of them correctly. They are just some of the things I find when out hiking. I try to pack any trash I find out in nature.

Thanks! A local news station just had a story about releasing balloons https://www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/news/balloons-environmental-impact/

What a great challenge! I made several easy switches to make small differences in my impact.

We are on septic system, so never put it in the drain, but I am now aware I can toss it on our compost.
