I think getting educating and raising awareness is a start for regular people whose professions are not in the Science, but every bit helps!

I usually carry a reusable bag folded in my purse. The trouble is sometimes I know I'll do some shopping and make sure to bring along and sometimes, as I'm out and about or afterwork, I stop by a shop and if it was an unplanned shopping event I may not have the reusable bag with me.

I'll need to remind myself to always carry a bag for "just in case"

When I see litter on green areas, my first reaction is sadness, disappointment and simply unpleasant feelings. At the same time, I know I have a choice: a mere observer, bystander and witness; or I could do something about it to improve the scenery, avoid other people to witness the litter and come to believe is acceptable and by doing so become and example of a light worker/Earth caregiver

A few years ago before Covid, I was an active member of a volunteer Environmental group and participated on this EcoChallenge as well as other activities. Of course, many groups went dormant in 2020 as a result of the Pandemic and though I continue to do individual actions to protect and care for the Environment, this is the first time in several years that I take part in a community effort. Already invited some of my friends to join. Hope that my action encourage other members in the city to do their part to support Mother Earth
