I am trying to start some seeds indoors (basil using seeds that I saved from a plant a few summers ago, tomatoes, agastache, and sunflowers). Unfortunately, some of the basil seedlings seem to have developed some mold, but the tomatoes seem to be sprouting. Back in January, I also started some milk carton greenhouses in the yard to try to...

I donated to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation and participated in their monthly Seal Walk to learn about the local seals and see them in their natural habitat. We received emergency contact information for the WDC to save future seals or whales that we find beached or in distress.

Recently read "Traffication" by Paul Donald. It is a fantastic book about the unconscious impact of traffic noise and our environment and wildlife. I 100% recommend it as a spring read!

This is my first spring season in our new house. I am looking forward to identifying the invasive and native species on the property. I was surprised to learn that shopping was such a large contributor to my water footprint.

I have been trying to go waste free for years now, and it has really raised my awareness of how hard it can be. There are days I get super close but go to a club meeting that only has paper plates and disposal utensils or eat one piece of candy with a wrapper that is then thrown out. Even though I still aspire to reach zero waste, I am pretty...

I hadn't heard the term "climate anxiety" before, but can understand how that's impacting Gen Z in particular.

This was a helpful reminder to reach out to friends I haven't been in touch with in a while - it felt great to connect with them and see how each other is doing!

Parenthood has caused a relapse in my Keurig addiction - currently I'm throwing away 2 k cups a day! Time for some reusable k cups!
