The total of 23 minutes learning makes me laugh. I spend multiples of that every day. Can anyone go through a day without learning something?

Posted a link to the National Parks explanation of indigenous burning and saw that a member of the Konkow tribe in Butte County, California had posted photos of tribal members conducting a controlled burn at almost exactly the same time. We appreciated each other's posts. They have only recently gotten a small piece of their historic land.

I came as close as is humanly possible to a Zero Waste Day multiple times during the month but never got completely to Zero since part of life is eating and creating waste.

Even being unable to attract a single Team Member, I keep plugging along. I thought Safe Air, Safe Food, Safe Water would be a goal that everyone would love. I thought it was a goal that could bridge any divisions between people.

I realized we would have to go to a medical center and get hooked up to have no waste in a day. I keep coming close but there is always just the fact that human life creates waste naturally.

It makes me want to sing. I see green or spider webs with dew in the blackened scar and I'm overjoyed.

I chose a variety for a patch of dead soil in my Landlady's front yard. She said she likes color and this selection will give her that and add color in motion with butterflies and other pollinators.
