I am terrible at meal planning, so this was a stretch for me. It felt good to know what I was going to eat and look forward to it. This is an easy way to reduce waste. I can do this.

I volunteered at the Planted Expo in Seattle on Sunday sharing with the community all of the hard work we are doing at Heartwood Haven. It was incredible to be among so many people with tender hearts for the animals. I hope there are more events to come geared toward the vegan community.

This is a staggering statistic. Just in case you need a nudge to consider meat-free meals. Animal cruelty is damaging our environment. The meat and dairy industries play an undeniably large role in our warming climate.

Volunteering at the Heartwood Haven animal sanctuary always fills my heart all the way up. Seeing the pure joy on these animals faces knowing that they are safe is the best thing in the world.
