April 18 at 1:25 PMI joined this challenge to educate our kids from home since we can make small changes in the family to save the planet

April 18 at 9:00 AMI learnt about microplastics and how they can affect our health. It was a scary read for sure. On the single use plastic subject, here in Mexico we've had laws for about 5-7 years now, prohibiting the use of plastic bags in the supermarket and clothing stores. I started to use them way before that, as well as water bottles. It's good to see...

April 15 at 9:38 AMThe video on how the bottled water was created and its repercussions was eye opening. I moved to a reusable water bottle years ago and it's awesome to see that many people have joined.

April 13 at 8:59 PMToday being new year for us, attended tree plantation drive organized to plant 400 saplings in our area by the community folks. It was nice feeling to ensure greenery is back with the concrete jungle in the vicinity.

April 12 at 8:26 AMI liked doing the calculators. There's some things that I can improve like shopping locally, that's my commitment, other advices I can't do like placing solar panels, I live in a apartment and it's just not possible due to the construction type and my neighbors.

April 12 at 8:07 AMI've always been concerned about food waste, I try to buy as little as possible. the best example is when buying the large portion at a fast food chain. It's enticing to fall into buying more when it cost less, but do you actually consume it? more importantly, do you eat it because you need it, or because it's just there? It was also good to...

April 12 at 7:50 AMParticipated in cleanliness drive in our community today and it was great to see many enthusiast coming along and making it a success.
-
April 9 at 7:22 AMI already used a low amount of oil to cook; I use a spray and also went air-fryer during COVID, but I never knew how to get rid of the oil. I was surprised to learn about the reuse using filters. I'll try to do that and advise my family on this practice. Sadly in my city there is no recycle center for oil, at least not since I've investigated...
-
April 9 at 6:54 AMI set boundaries to reduce my family's fly trips. Any location within 12 driving distance is planned by car. Longer trips and those that have geo obstacles like crossing the ocean are scheduled by plane.
-
April 9 at 6:50 AMI planted sunflowers around my veggie garden to attract the bees.
