Use reusable food container instead of polystyrene food box to reduce waste in landfill. This is because polystyrene may take around 500 years to decompose once in the landfill.

The basic energy audit to perform at home is to review pass utility bills compare to current bills. The steps that we have practice at home are using solar renewable energy and changing fluorescent to LED & natural sunlight solar lights.

Use collected rainwater for gardening and cleaning is one of the basic step in reduces demand on municipal water. Set up a few reusable containers for rainwater collection & clean up the container when not in used is the most basic manual way for household to practice using sustainable water.
