We began spending time daily to declutter our house one room at a time and donate to a local thrift store. We also purchased our son’s new toy and book from a secondhand thrift store.

By using uncecsary appliances on a daily basis.

We waste more than necessary in our house. We started meal planning last week in order to alleviate waste.

Taking a survey of all items before going shopping for the week and making a strict list to go by. Not buying off the list.

We have stopped rinsing! And scraping food first and then placing in dishwasher

When out of town, it made me think about what I was purchasing. Did the purchase go to support local communities or was it mass produced in a different origin?

It not only helps our stores but the planet.

I have really valued getting to see my impact more and more on what choices I make that impacts the overall globe
