The small city I live in just posted an opportunity to have a tree planted in your yard. I thought this was a great opportunity and didn't know if anyone else had anything similar. We know that trees are so detrimental to our earth.

Being a part of nature can benefits us and can benefit those around you.

With all of little things we do, it all could account to something big.

I added to my prairie garden! I love the smell of bergamot so it was a welcome addition.

I picked up trash as part of our annual service day. I found someone’s smashed car brakes and two big pieces of rebar. Someone else found a toaster! We picked up as much as we could before the rain started, but together we got about seven bags full!

Feels good to know that picking up trash along the waters edge could be saving aquatic life and birds even🌎💚

While my family have been searching for morel mushrooms we all have also been picking up the trash we see along the stream and Mackinaw river 💚🌎

One thing I love about all this rain is that my new plants will start off on a great growing journey💚🌎

I do the Ecochallenge every semester- three time a year, with my students. Seeing how involved everyone is, seeing them learn how easy it is to make a difference, and knowing that some of these habits will become permanent...well that's why I teach.
