April 18 at 10:44 AMStaying at the beach for the holiday weekend and watching the amount of waste makes you feel an “ick” but as manners, you really can’t tell a stranger to recycle their beer cans in a pool or leave them on the beach. Having a recycling can next to the trash maybe a good start!

April 18 at 8:56 AMI am learning that I enjoy my outdoor walks the most, because they give me an opportunity to practice mindfulness (focusing on all the sounds I hear and wildlife I see). I feel much less stressed after these particular walks than after other exercise, like using my elliptical machine.

April 18 at 6:46 AMI buy a lot of local produce, and pollinators directly affect the yield of these small local farms. Fortunately, I live in an area where most urban houses have pollinator gardens instead of lawns, and plan on doing the same thing once I switch from renting to owning next year. This year, I plan on growing some bee-beloved flowers in flowerpots...

April 17 at 7:24 AMSometimes I yearn for wide open spaces! I am lucky to have friends in Cody, Wyoming and they send updates on my favorite horse. I have been horse crazy since I was a kid and use to show. However, just getting out on a trail I always noticed everything about Nature. 💛🐴
