April 30 at 8:50 AMPlanning out meals as a family in advance was efficient and ensured that there was no food waste as we knew what we were eating in advance, and could freeze food to have another day if we made too much.

April 24 at 8:22 AMIt felt good knowing we were helping the local environment. Planted local flowers. Read that it helps with bees and cross pollination.

April 10 at 8:15 AMI am enjoying this eco-challenge, today I purposely took a jog to the mailbox rather than drive which saved an unnecessary car journey even though it would have been more convenient for me. April 8 at 8:57 AMI actually do have an environmentally sustainable dishwasher that does not use the heat drying technology!
-
April 3 at 9:19 AMI will gladly use the dishwasher instead of hand washing dishes - thanks for the sustainability reminder!
-
April 1 at 1:47 PMI joined because I needed the reminder to continue the habits I've already established and push myself to find new things to incorporate that are sustainable. Every little thing adds up! This amazing blue planet is one of a kind and I'm doubtful that Mars or the moon is really my cup of tea.

April 1 at 11:03 AMToday I learned about wolves being introduced back into the population of the Yellowstone National Park in the mid 1990's. Deer numbers had grown out of control and the wolves being introduced helped control their numbers by hunting them. This enabled trees to grow and other life to form as a result which created an ecosystem that enabled the...
