Our Ecochallenge team of 31 participants from five different countries came together to make a positive impact on the environment!

Spotted these bright yellow bursts of sunshine all over the neighborhood landscape! While dandelions might be considered "invasive," they are actually a beautiful (and edible!) part of our local biodiversity. Did you know "dandelion" comes from French for "lion's tooth"? They are packed with vitamins and minerals, making them a trendy addition to dishes by chefs. They're also completely edible - from the roots to the flowers!

EcoChallenge Day 27: Embracing the Beauty of Nature! Check out this beautiful picture of a roe deer family resting peacefully, just a 10-minute walk from my house. It's a reminder of the preciousness of every ecosystem and the importance of caring for every creature that calls it home. Let's continue to cherish and conserve the natural world around us, ensuring a harmonious coexistence for all living beings.

🌞 Happy EcoChallenge Day 26! ⚡ Today, let's illuminate the benefits of renewable electricity at home! 💡 Switching to renewable energy sources like solar not only reduces our carbon footprint but can also lead to substantial savings, especially in regions with ample sunshine. Take my parents in India, for example. By installing solar panels, they not only slashed their carbon footprint but also saw a significant reduction in their electricity bill. It's a win-win for the environment and your wallet!

Happy EcoChallenge Day 25! 🌾 Let's promote regenerative agriculture! Food production has altered our planet more than any other human activity, accounting for 24% of greenhouse emissions and 70% of freshwater usage. It's the single greatest cause of biodiversity loss and global habitat loss, accelerating at an alarming rate. Source : Nature.org

On 22nd April , for Earth Day, we took on a community clean-up as part of the EcoChallenge, and let me tell you, it was eye-opening! The amount of plastic litter and rubbish we found was staggering! The even more concerning part is that some of it was already breaking down into microplastics, those tiny plastic pieces that wreak havoc on our environment and wildlife. This serves as a stark reminder of our plastic problem!

Joined the amazing Roxar Green Team for a local cleanup day today! Together with around 35 other volunteers, we collected a bunch of trash and made our neighborhood a cleaner place. ️☀️
