I have decided to revive old items in my closet and not buy new items. It makes me spark creative ideas on how I can use the old wardrobe in a new way, so if feels both like a challenge and a joy afterwards :)

Decluttering brought up a mix of emotions for me. I actually started this process years ago, but it’s still a struggle not to give in to all the consumerism—especially when it’s advertised as the norm these days. I felt embarrassed realizing how much I had accumulated, with some items barely used, and shocked at the amount of money I had essentially thrown out the window.
But at the same time, I felt content knowing that these things could now be put to good use and help someone else. I used different decluttering methods, like the KonMari Method, but my main rule was: "Have I worn/needed this in the past 1–2 years?"
Now, my home feels so much more spacious, and I no longer feel suffocated by my own belongings. I still haven’t managed to refrain from buying plants—but hey, that’s the kind of ‘clutter’ I can live with! 🌿😊
