I live in the countryside, about 4 km away from the bakery. Walking instead of driving not only helps reduce my carbon footprint but also contributes to my overall health.
    1. Car emissions: On average, a gasoline vehicle emits 135 g of CO₂ per kilometer.
    2. Calculation for 10 km:
      • By walking 10 km every day, I save 1.35 kg of CO₂ per day.
    3. Health benefits: Walking regularly helps keep me in good health, providing both physical and mental benefits.
    4. Annual savings:
      • If I walk every day of the year (365 days), I save:
        • 1.35 kg CO₂/day × 365 days = 493 kg CO₂ per year.
