April 30 at 8:27 AMThe challenge went well and the daily nudges were great! Hope that everyone was able to take some time to think about their actions and the impact on the environment.

April 30 at 6:18 AMWondering what edible plants others have found work well in grow bags. I've tried carrots with little success. Potatoes did really well but grew through the bag. Tomatoes have been a bit mixed. What has worked well for you?

April 30 at 5:17 AMMy focus was broader this year, including waste and water management, community beautification, restoration and cleanup projects, self-care (including meditation, balancing sleep, exercise and eating more fruits & vegetables) and well as mind melding with my community. I appreciate all this does to sustain the earth, my community and myself.

April 29 at 9:19 AMToday, my colleague and I shared pictures, we work in different states about the gardens we planted and encouraged each other with tips, tricks and stories.

April 29 at 9:18 AMI thought I already posted this: Prairie restoration created a beautiful area at the trail head for people to hang out, to prevent erosion and encourage pollinators and wildlife. I felt connect as we all worked very hard to finish before the day was over and some families participated. Fund to see kids out there and grandparents.

April 29 at 9:16 AMI have met people from all over Nashville at various volunteering events and then again at the river cleanup, and Sierra Club meetings. We exchanged ideas and info about events, and I have learned about some fun ones. I think it teaches us that we are resilient together and we are not alone in our pursuit to protect the environment.

April 28 at 2:18 PMToday I saw a mating pair of cardinals in the woods just behind my deck. fun to watch them chase each other flying in sync.

April 27 at 6:55 AMThe Challenge is going well. I am sorry to see it end in a few days. I hope each of us takes a few things we learned along with a renewed sense of purpose and optimism away as sparkling gifts.

April 27 at 6:48 AMZooniverse/Adler Planetarium is an organization I participated in through my son's school and an Astronomy course I took with Coursera. Until today, I was unaware that it is on Voya's Inspiration Station/NDOS list of orgs. There are many areas of study in which one can participate. Check it out!
