The third goal aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown how fragile many of the world’s health systems can be and is exacerbating other types of health-related issues as well. To support this goal:

    • Encourage regular physical and mental health screenings within the members of your organization.
    • Educate on the spread of communicable diseases and what individuals can do to help stop the transmission of diseases
An often overlooked side of our current linear economy is the unintended adverse health effects from hazardous materials. While SDG 3 has a weaker link to circular economy than the others listed here, e-waste is a great example of a fast growing waste stream that needs circular design thinking in a bad way. Closing material loops for electronics presents an opportunity to prevent harmful effects to the environment and human health from the current practice of low standard recycling (shredding) or incineration.

What is one way you can reduce your impact on nature the next time you spend time outdoors, and how might that action help preserve the environment for others?

    • Keep your local habitats safe by sticking to the paths.
    • – Make your garden wildlife-friendly by setting aside space for nature! You could build a bee hotel, have a log pile, or even create a pond.
    • – If you own a cat that goes outdoors, put a bell on its collar so that vulnerable wildlife can hear it coming and make their escape

How did it feel to plant something, and what kind of gardening did you do (indoors, hydroponic, outside in a garden, etc)? What did you plant and where? Feel free to share a photo to the feed!

lanting something felt incredibly grounding and fulfilling. There’s something special about watching life grow from something as small as a seed—it gave me a deeper appreciation for nature and patience. I did outdoor gardening in a small space on my balcony, which I turned into a green corner.

What did you learn about how tourism impacts wildlife, and how can you make more conscious choices when planning a trip? How do you think your travel decisions can contribute to wildlife conservation and respectful interactions with nature?

I learned that while tourism can generate funds for conservation, it can also disturb wildlife, damage natural habitats, and contribute to pollution if not managed responsibly. Activities like feeding animals, riding elephants, or visiting poorly regulated zoos can harm animals and encourage unethical practices. To make more conscious choices, I now prioritize eco-certified accommodations, support wildlife sanctuaries with ethical practices, and choose tour operators that follow responsible wildlife viewing guidelines.

Collecting rainwater opened my eyes to how much usable water we often waste. It made me realize that sustainability isn't just about large-scale actions—small, consistent habits at home can make a real difference. Seeing how much water could be gathered from just one rainfall helped me better appreciate the value of natural resources and the importance of conservation in everyday life.

I chose to support the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) because of their global efforts to protect endangered species and preserve natural habitats. Their work resonated with me deeply, especially their initiatives focused on marine conservation and combating deforestation—issues that impact biodiversity and the health of our planet. Knowing that their mission aligns with long-term sustainability made it a cause worth backing.

To prepare for extreme weather events, I created an emergency kit with essentials like water, non-perishable food, flashlights, batteries, first aid supplies, and important documents in waterproof folders. I also installed weather alert apps and ensured all family members knew the emergency contact numbers and evacuation routes. At work, we reviewed our business continuity plans and made sure remote working tools were in place in case of disruption.

I participated in the sharing economy by organizing a community potluck during our Ethnic Day celebration at work. Everyone brought a traditional dish from their culture, and we shared not just food but stories, traditions, and laughter. It was a simple yet powerful way to contribute and receive without monetary exchange, reinforcing the spirit of togetherness.
A sharing economy encourages collaboration, reduces waste, and builds trust among participants. It promotes resourcefulness by enabling people to access goods, services, or skills they might not afford individually. More importantly, it creates a sense of belonging, where everyone contributes and benefits equally.

offered training and support in using Oracle's mass data upload tool, specifically for purchase order (PO) updates. This helped teams across different world areas save significant time and reduce errors in processing bulk data. By simplifying a complex process, I was able to empower colleagues to work more efficiently and confidently, which directly improved reporting accuracy and turnaround times.
Sharing my expertise made me feel more connected because it allowed me to support my peers in a practical and meaningful way. It wasn’t just about solving a technical issue—it was about building trust, encouraging collaboration, and contributing to a shared goal. Seeing the positive results and receiving appreciation made me realize how even small contributions can strengthen community bonds.

I discovered several resources focused on skill development, mental health support, and employee engagement—such as internal mentorship programs, wellness webinars, and community-driven platforms like BASMAH. These resources can benefit my community by enhancing personal growth, encouraging open communication, and creating a stronger sense of belonging. They provide practical support while fostering a culture of inclusiveness and continuous learning.
How did sharing this information make you feel more connected to your community’s needs and opportunities?
Sharing these resources made me feel more attuned to the real challenges and aspirations within my community. It opened up conversations that revealed what people truly value—whether it's emotional support, growth opportunities, or simply being heard. This deeper understanding helped me feel more connected and gave me a clearer sense of how I can contribute meaningfully.
