We have over 100 Rubber trees in Kerala which are more than 20 year old, I was advised by many to cut them for money and replant, i knew replanting them would take more than year and yield would be 7 years down the line, so we decided to keep the trees to protect the land from erosion and maintain a green cover.

Volunteering offers multifaceted benefits to both individuals and communities. It involves giving time, skills, and resources to address community needs, fostering positive change and strengthening social bonds. Volunteers contribute to a sense of belonging and unity, promoting empathy and inclusivity. Through their service, individuals develop new skills, enhance well-being, and forge meaningful connections. Moreover, volunteering cultivates a deeper understanding of community dynamics and a sense of shared responsibility for collective welfare. Overall, it's a reciprocal relationship where both volunteers and communities thrive through mutual support and collaboration.

Climate + Air Consume only Needs vs Wants
Consuming only what we need vs. what we want can be really hard to do. What has been challenging about committing to this action for a month? What have you learned about yourself? Will you change any habits going forward?

What you want and what you need has been a personal thing for me, never thought it was drive for sustainability. Participating in Eco Challenge has made me more committed to this drive/belief.
