      I do the same! Your doing two things at once that are really good! Walking, and picking up trash and your preventing someone's tire from being popped from the nail.

    I had fasting bloodwork yesterday and the results were all normal.

    The timing of the challenge is working perfectly with the timing of cleaning up my wild strawberries! The strawberries were here when we moved in, and 3 years later I am loving the project of weeding and organizing them into paths for delicious natural fruit and jams and jellies!

    I purchased two new bird feeders and loaded them with seeds. I sat outside with my dog and eldest and we watched cardinals eat, drink, and sing to other birds.
    The natural music was refreshing, and we felt recharged breathing in the air and observing the birds interacting.

    I have been taking my dog on a walk in his harness and leash after work. Walking up and down the hills was great for our legs - saying hello to my neighbors and asking about their chickens, cows, and gardens was great for our mental well-being!
    When it was raining, we dashed to each neighbor's porch to chat until the rain lightened up a little.

    The invasive lubbers (giant grasshoppers that will give you nightmares and have no natural enemy) are youths right now. We are supposed to kill them when we see them but not get close enough where they can spit their acid poison on us. They are mainly at our dog park and playground. When I see them near my home, I have a 2x4 handy.

    I love the timing of the Eco Challenge as it matches my timing for planting vegetables and tending to flowers and fruit. I'm currently trimming up blackberry bushes so they're a bit easier for picking in the fall.
