    Saving on energy and move towards a longer lasting bulb is always a plus. In addition, I was not a fan of the mercury filled (Compact fluorescent lamps) anyway.

    I use the quick wash cycle more often when the dishes are not as dirty. I also do not run the dishwasher unless it is close to capacity.
