    I was surprised to learn that my favorite fruit, mango, has a water footprint of approx 50 gallons per serving—about double that of apples (~25 per serving), However, apples come with - an apple a day recommendation. Nuts are even higher, at 200–500 gallons per serving—perhaps a reason to limit my cashew intake.

    We've been working on making our garden more pollinator-friendly every year. I would love to plant more native plants, but I'm not sure where to find them...maybe local nurseries and garden clubs?
