Meal prepping my breakfast and lunch for each day makes it really easy to consistently eat healthy meals and buy the right amount of food. It's also great to come home from work and already have a plan on what to make for dinner!

I read EWG’s quick tips for reducing your diet's climate footprint. The fact sheet stated that we should eat less protein, and that we consume more protein than required for a healthy diet. From a health and fitness standpoint, I really don't agree with this, and this type of message could deter people from low-carbon diets. I'd be curious what the source of that statement is, since there wasn't any data provided to back it up.

Climate + Air Calculate My Carbon Impact

My calculated carbon emissions were highest in the "consumption" category (2.9 tons CO2/year). To lower these emissions, I can shop less, prioritize locally grown food, and eat more vegetarian food.
