A clean community benefits everyone. Each day I am outside, I will pick up 10 pieces of litter to keep my community clean.

Car-Free Lifestyle
Learning how to transport oneself around without the use of a personal automobile is probably the best way to reduce an individual's personal carbon footprint. I have been living without one (by choice) for a decade now. Hopefully fellow participants of the Eco Challenge will consider not using theirs for the month of April.

I have to agree with you, Josiah. Many days I feel a sense of hopelessness as I see more and more environmental legislation weakened or removed. But I've noticed that when I take sustainable actions, it makes me feel better--even though my actions are on a small scale. I know I'm do SOMETHING for my planet and its residents.
