An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When marine wildlife ingest plastic, they have a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 3 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.

    Eat less of anything high in sugar, I'll choose more plant-based proteins, such as lentils, beans, and tofu.

    Often indirectly through packaging and single-use items. Taking actions such as using reusable shopping bags, containers, and bottles, as well as opting for products with less packaging can reduce my use of plastic.

      I’m have learned that is it quiet literally everywhere if we were purchase anything from grocery stores. However, if I were to shop at farmers market and dine at restaurants rather than ordering to-go, I can limit my plastic usage.

    Frequent car use is the biggest source of carbon emissions. Choosing to use public transportation, carpool, or switch to more fuel-efficient electric vehicles are practical ways to reduce your carbon footprint.
