Take the Pre-Survey
Take the Pre-Event Survey
I’ll take a short pre-survey to share what motivated me to join — and earn 15 points! (If I already took the survey by email, I’ll just mark this action complete to get my points.)
Water
Understand My Water Footprint
Each of us has a water footprint, directly linked to our daily activities as well as the water required in the production of things we use each day. Understanding our water use is important for a healthy planet. I will calculate my water footprint and look for a few ways I can reduce consumption or waste, then share what I learned on the feed.
Biodiversity and Wildlife
Donate to Support Wildlife
There are many amazing projects supporting wildlife and their habitats. I will choose a project or organization to support that helps species and habitats I care about and make a donation.
Action Track
Remove Invasive Species
Removing invasive species (species that are not naturally found in my area and can outcompete native plants) can help beautify nature around me and protect local biodiversity. I will learn about invasive plants in my area and, if possible, support or participate in at least one effort to beautify nature near me by removing invasive species.
Personal
Prioritize Getting Enough Sleep
Good sleep is essential for a healthy body and mind. I will prioritize getting 60 minutes of quality sleep each night and develop a bedtime routine that supports rest and relaxation.

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction TrackWhat invasive species did you learn about in your area, and how do they impact native plants and wildlife? If you were able to support or partiicpate in an effort to remove invasive species, what did you do, and how it go?
Natalie Wells 4/18/2026 1:36 PMI did research in the 2 counties I live in/spend the most time in. I made a spreadsheet with pictures and info of the top invasive plant species in my areas. I hope to identify and remove these plants in the wild in the future. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBiodiversity and WildlifeWhat project or organization did you choose to support, and why did it resonate with you? What are some ways you can continue to support wildlife conservation beyond financial contributions?
Natalie Wells 4/17/2026 3:45 PMI donate $25 to Homegrown National Park. We talked about that in class during our landscaping lecture, and it really resonated with me. The fact that we could reverse so many aspects of climate change in our own yards is incredibly motivating. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaterWhat did you learn about your water footprint, and what changes felt most practical or surprising? How does this connect to resilience on a larger scale?
Natalie Wells 4/04/2026 1:04 PMI learned that my water footprint is below the national average, which is good, but it could be better. I made a list of suggestions that will help lower my water footprint and keep me conscious of my water/energy usage. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonalHow did improving your sleep affect your energy, focus, or mood? What role does rest play in helping you feel more balanced and capable of handling challenges?
