    I've enjoyed taking part in this years Ecochallenge : my home, my fridge and my rubbish bin are looking different ! Better. Less waste & less clutter definitely helps with my mental health.

    Decided this weekend we (Husband and myself) would do a bit of 'self care', which really helped with ensuring anxiety for the week ahead was reduced, Recommend just taking some time out and doing the silly things, like feet masks/massage and face masks

    found lots of 'not quite fresh' vegetables in the fridge and decided to use them all up in a ragu type dish - Peppars, Olives, Mushrooms, Spring Onions, Garlic, Tomatoes, courgette - it was totally yummy with some whole wheat pasta. .

    I find that if i eat things that are not 'good' for me, anything with lots of animal fats or if i dont have my fruits/veg - i sleep badly and feel groggy. It's good to have something naughty occasionally, but need to balance it out with lots of good things. Fresh garden Tomatoes smell and taste amazing and now it's the season of new strawberries - that also have that lovely sweetness (feels naughty) but actually good for you .. win win.

    Cool spring day in Bristol, so heading off to the coast with my niece & nephew to fly a kite and get some chips at the seaside, good for the soul to be by the sea and doesn't happen enough!

    So normal anxiety for a trip to london for a meeting - didn't sleep well but felt better after reading how to control breathing and to just 'take a minute' - stop the rushing around. Also trying to overcome my anxiety of speaking to people.. it's hard but i'm pushing on.
