  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I recently learned that hand washing dishes actually uses more water than using the dishwasher - totally would have expected the opposite! Keeping this in mind from now on.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health & Equity Practice Mindfulness

Beginning my day with mindfulness leaves me feeling relaxed and balanced throughout the day!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Nicole Visco 4/05/2023 5:56 AM
I began tracking my spending in March and realized how much I was spending without even noticing! I've definitely reduced my consumption of products I don't need as well as clothing purchases and realized how much unnecessary stuff I was buying previously.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Education & Livelihood Work-Life Balance
How does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?

    Nicole Visco's avatar
    Nicole Visco 4/05/2023 5:53 AM
By incorporating work-life balance, I've found that I am more productive at work and more present in my life outside of work. This creates space for intentionality in my life which can be used when building up sustainable habits.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Basic Needs & Security Know Your Produce
What surprised you about the two produce lists? How will you use these lists for your grocery shopping? Have you used these lists before?

    Nicole Visco's avatar
    Nicole Visco 4/05/2023 5:51 AM
I've never seen the lists before, but will definitely be more conscious of them when grocery shopping in the future to avoid dangerous pesticides in my food! Pesticides are something I've never really thought much about or made an effort to avoid, but I will now.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I had no idea how much water it takes to produce different food items like coffee and beef - planning to be more mindful of this!
