"Mission The Ipswich Massachusetts Shade Tree and Beautification Committee is an entirely volunteer effort, made up of concerned Ipswich residents, landscape professionals, Garden Club members and a selectmen who recommend, recognize, and implement actions that beautify and enhance the town of Ipswich, Massachusetts and its quality of life. The planting of shade trees is a focus of the committee to counteract climate change. Committee Activities Members will seek and monitor local business support for the planting and maintaining of roadway islands, promote appropriate planting areas and native tree planting throughout the town as well as organize town-wide cleanups. "

Plant Trees
Trees capture carbon and produce oxygen that is essential to life on earth. I will support this important piece of nature by organizing or joining a community group to plant 15 native trees in my community, public parks, office location, campus or backyard.
