Today, I decided to clean out my wardrobe because I realized there were a lot of clothes I wasn’t wearing anymore. Instead of letting them sit unused, I chose to donate them to a local organization where they could be reused by others. It felt good to give the clothes a second life instead of throwing them away, and it reminded me how small actions like this can help reduce waste and support sustainability. (It definitely freed up some much-needed space in my closet so I feel much more organized in regards to that. My hangers can finally breathe!)

At work we are having a professional clothes drive where the clothes we collect will be donated to a local university to be distributed to students for when they attend interviews. I still need to take a few pieces in for this drive.

    Community and Connection
What skill or service did you offer, and how did it impact someone in your community? How did sharing your expertise or time help you feel more connected to others?

Today I overheard a coworker talking about how she needed to visit her kids out of state. She's a struggling single mom and was hoping to come home to a clean house but didn’t have anyone to help. I offered to watch her place and clean up while she was gone. It took me about three hours, but honestly, it felt good to do something that could make even a small difference for someone. It just reminded me how important community support is, small acts of kindness like this are a big part of building a culture of care and mutual aid.

What motivated you to schedule or attend your check-up, and how did it make you feel afterward that you completed this action?

I'm not gonna lie, my parents have been telling me to get a check-up for a while now. I noticed that getting a check-up was listed as an action on the dashboard, and honestly, that gave me the push I needed to finally go ahead and schedule one.
