I think the impact starts at home. I'd like to get my kids involved in making more conscious decisions about the food that we buy, purchasing only what we need and will consume. In addition, I'd like to find ways to support Kitsap Harvest's mission through volunteerism and have followed them on Facebook to get started!

I’m really enjoying this challenge and realizing the immediate effects of paying special attention to individual daily impacts, like home products, idling vehicles, running water, kids that leave lights on or bedroom heaters running after leaving for school, lol. Looking forward to making a difference with you all!
