Health and Well-Being
Enjoy the Outdoors for 30 Minutes
Studies have shown that when we spend consistent time in nature, our health improves, our creativity increases, and our connection to the planet gets stronger. Each day of the Ecochallenge, I will spend 30 minutes outside, then share my observations, reflections, and learnings on the feed.

Explore Resources for Managing Anxiety
Anxiety can be overwhelming, but resources and strategies can help. I will spend 15 minutes exploring resources that help manage anxiety and stress to support my mental and psychological well being.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

MARY SHIPMAN 4/07/2025 5:17 AMMy flowers are pushing up. I need to buy vinegar and mulch. Great to be out of the house even for short time between rain drops.-

- 17-DAY STREAK
Spending time in nature helps reduce stress, improve mood, and clear your mind. It boosts physical health by encouraging movement and fresh air, which is good for your body. Nature also helps you feel more relaxed, creative, and focused. The sights and sounds of nature make you feel calmer and can even help you sleep better. Overall, being outside makes you feel better mentally and physically.
