  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land, Water, and Air
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money? What patterns did you notice in the food you threw away, and how can you address them?

“It is one world. And it’s in our care. For the first time in the history of humanity, for the first time in 500 million years, one species has the future in the palm of its hands.”
    David Attenborough
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health and Well-Being
What motivated you to schedule or attend your check-up, and how did it make you feel afterward that you completed this action?

    Dijesh Shah's avatar
    Dijesh Shah 4/27/2025 10:10 AM
Health Check ups are in fact liberating. I am not sure why people abstain from doing it regularly. One can be proactive if any illness or potential health issue is noticed in the test results.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land, Water, and Air
How did changing your dishwashing habits make you more mindful of water use? What other small changes can you make to conserve water in your household?

Less soiled utensils need less water and efforts for cleaning. Not wasting food by having limited portion sizes is one of the very effective ways on avoid wasting food and water for cleaning.

Such a powerful reminder. That quote by Barack Obama really captures the responsibility our generation holds—we're at a tipping point, and what we choose to do now will shape the future for generations to come. 🌍💚

It is not just a change for 1 month in a year. It is a lifestyle change that one has to believe in. The quote by M.K. Gandhi makes me believe that the nature & surroundings around us need to be taken care of as we are only temporary custodians and not permanent owners of the same.

"The earth, the air, the land, and the water are not an inheritance from our forefathers but on loan from our children. So we have to handover to them at least as it was handed over to us.” – Gandhi

"To leave the world better than you found it, sometimes you have to pick up other people's trash.” – Bill Nye
