Take the Pre-Survey
Take the Pre-Event Survey
I’ll take a short pre-survey to share what motivated me to join — and earn 15 points! (If I already took the survey by email, I’ll just mark this action complete to get my points.)
What is resilience?
Notice Resilience Around Me
Resilience shows up in many places. I will look for one example of resilience in my surroundings—whether in my community, work, or daily life—and reflect on what it teaches me about adapting to change.
Water
Save Water When Washing Dishes
Dishwashers can save water — if used wisely. I will only run the dishwasher when it’s full and skip the pre-rinse to reduce water and energy use. If I don't have a dishwasher, I will turn off the tap as often as possible while washing dishes.
What is resilience?
Reflect on My Own Resilience
Resilience is personal and collective. I will reflect on a time when I adapted to change in my own life, writing down what helped me and what I learned from the experience.
What is resilience?
Explore Resilience in Nature
Resilience is all around us in the natural world. I will spend 5 minutes outdoors looking for examples of resilience—such as plants regrowing, animals adapting, or seasonal cycles—and reflect on what they teach about thriving through change.
Community
Discover How Communities Build Resilience
Every community around the world faces challenges—from natural disasters to economic changes—and find ways to adapt and thrive. I will spend 5 minutes exploring stories of community resilience and reflect on what lessons I can bring to my own community.

Arbor Day is coming up, anyone have any good resources on free tree planting? I’m waiting to hear back from one source, I think we will be trying for a tree planting at our office. -

I always bring my reusable water bottle on work trips to cut down on single use plastic. Most hotels and airports have filling stations these days.-

Spent my day in today in Death Valley National Park. Conservation of nature through these parks and throughout the world is vital to biodiversity and a healthy ecosystem, while giving the opportunity for our appreciation of what nature has to offer.-

One small example of sustainability I can share as I finish my lunch is I always try to bring my food in reusable containers, rather than single-use plastic bags or foil. Doesn't seem like much, but I'm sure it adds up over time.-
Pierre Bourgeade 4/04/2026 6:16 PMI do the same and little by little as a group we can achieve big goals. I like the approach. Keep going! -

That's great, Zachary—I do the same thing to bring my lunch to work. We're making a real difference!
