Prioritize Getting Enough Sleep
Good sleep is essential for a healthy body and mind. I will prioritize getting 60 minutes of quality sleep each night and develop a bedtime routine that supports rest and relaxation.

Prepare for Extreme Weather
Extreme weather events like hurricanes, wildfires, and floods can disrupt lives and upend our communities. I will take proactive steps to prepare for extreme weather by safeguarding my home and creating or updating an emergency plan and kit with essential supplies, evacuation routes, and contact information.

Heidi Ross 4/23/2025 12:29 PMLately, I have been sleeping a lot on my days off! It’s been super nice to feel rested and refreshed! -
Heidi Ross 4/08/2025 10:54 AMAt first, I thought this challenge would be easy. Like who wouldn’t want to sleep more and actual make a point to do it? Well this has been such a struggle to get the right amount and get 60 extra minutes a night. I think it’s because I experience FOMO frequently and I feel like I’ll sleep my life away if I sleep in. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and Well-BeingWhat did you do to prepare for extreme weather events? Share any tips or resources you found helpful in the feed!
Heidi Ross 4/03/2025 11:14 AMYesterday I went through my garage and looked over the things I had in case of emergency. I came across items that should have been in my first aid kit and set them aside so I could add those later. I also made sure that my wireless/solar lanterns were out where we could access them in case the power went out. I also found a thing of matches I forgot I had and put those in a place I could remember because candles are another source if light when the power goes out. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and Well-BeingConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What changes did you make to improve your sleep, and how did they affect your day?
Heidi Ross 4/02/2025 12:50 PMOn average, I get 5 hours of sleep a night. I've recently gotten sick and have been sleeping more than usual so I've been getting 4+ hours extra a night including naps. I feel extremely rested and I want to increase my sleep hours by 60 minutes at minimum.
