Community and Connection
Check In with a Friend or Colleague
Staying connected strengthens relationships and boosts well-being. Each day, I will reach out to 4 friends or colleagues to check in, have a meaningful conversation, or offer support.
Community and Connection
Express Gratitude and Random Acts of Kindness
Small acts of kindness and gratitude can brighten someone's day and create a positive ripple effect. I will express gratitude to 4 people or perform 4 random acts of kindness to spread joy and connection.
Community and Connection
Share Information about Local Resources
Knowledge of local resources helps communities thrive. I will learn about local resources, especially mutual aid groups, and share them with others on social media, in conversations, or in other ways that help spread the word.

Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity and ConnectionWhat resources did you discover, and how do you think they can benefit your community? How did sharing this information make you feel more connected to your community’s needs and opportunities?
Rebeca Rosenstein 4/30/2025 9:09 PMI shared a link to a website from the European Environmental Agency on my Instagram story, which discusses the importance of caring for the environment worldwide. By sharing this information, it made me feel more connected to my community's needs by learning how our environmental health affects our own health, and the significance of upkeeping local ecosystems. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity and ConnectionHow did expressing gratitude or performing acts of kindness impact you and the recipient? Did anything surprise you about your experience?
Rebeca Rosenstein 4/30/2025 9:04 PMFor this challenge, I chose to give 4 random compliments. It felt good to give them, and the recipients were always very thankful. The only thing that surprised me about my experience was that I felt a little nervous before giving the compliments. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity and ConnectionHow did checking in with someone strengthen your relationship or provide support? How did it feel to reach out and connect?
Rebeca Rosenstein 4/30/2025 9:01 PMBy checking in with my friends, I simply asked how they were, and reminded them that I was there for them. It felt good to reach out to my friends and tell them that I was always there to support them.
