Take the Pre-Survey

Take the Pre-Event Survey

I’ll take a short pre-survey to share what motivated me to join — and earn 15 points! (If I already took the survey by email, I’ll just mark this action complete to get my points.)

COMPLETED
ONE-TIME ACTION

Personal

Explore Resources for Managing Anxiety

Anxiety can be overwhelming, but resources and strategies can help. I will spend 5 minutes exploring resources that help manage anxiety and stress to support my mental and psychological well being.

COMPLETED 16
DAILY ACTIONS

Community

Join a Group

Belonging to a group can help build friendships and a sense of purpose. I will explore online or in-person groups or clubs that share my interests or goals and join a group to connect with others.

COMPLETED
ONE-TIME ACTION

Water

Understand My Water Footprint

Each of us has a water footprint, directly linked to our daily activities as well as the water required in the production of things we use each day. Understanding our water use is important for a healthy planet. I will calculate my water footprint and look for a few ways I can reduce consumption or waste, then share what I learned on the feed.

COMPLETED
ONE-TIME ACTION

Personal

Meditate

Meditation helps build resilience and clarity. I will spend 5 minutes each day to meditate or create a moment of silence each day to reflect on things important to me.

COMPLETED 5
DAILY ACTIONS

What is resilience?

Learn About Ordinary Magic

Resilience is an everyday magic in all of us. I will spend 10 minutes learning about resilience and psychologist Ann Masten’s concept of “ordinary magic,” which shows how people adapt and thrive through small, daily strengths.

COMPLETED 5
DAILY ACTIONS

What is resilience?

Share a Resilience Story

Stories connect and inspire us. I will share 1 resilience stories—either from my life, my community, or from a leader or culture I admire—through conversations, social media, or the event feed to help others see resilience in action.

COMPLETED
ONE-TIME ACTION

Community

Offer a Skill or Service

Sharing our talents can benefit those around us. I will offer my skills or services that contribute to local self-sufficiency, such as teaching a repair skill or helping with a neighbor's garden.

COMPLETED
ONE-TIME ACTION

What is resilience?

Reflect on My Own Resilience

Resilience is personal and collective. I will reflect on a time when I adapted to change in my own life, writing down what helped me and what I learned from the experience.

I'm really trying to keep to my meditation. Even if it is a few quiet moments in the sun. Finding time for myself isn't easy these days.

yes, we always find excuses to skip the practice, but meditation is really easy, we can do it while we are on public transport, or during lunch break, keep it up

Having that inner strength to keep going even when I am too tired or too stressed has really helped keep me focused. Knowing that at any moment I can call my tribe and get a boost of encouragement really helps.

Honestly my close knit group of friends have gotten me through the toughest times in my life. I had an abusive first marriage, and just a lot of other stuggles, and I am lucky to have a group of people who will give it to me straight and also be incredibly supportive and encouraging.

I joined this challenge to help my job and in turn my teammates. I wasn't sure what to expect. But I have learned so much about different ways to help the environment and the Earth as a whole. I feel blessed to have found this site.

I found some foods that also promote soil regeneration. I think that is what they called it. I was organic sugar that also helped the soil once it was harvested.
