Save Water When Washing Dishes

Dishwashers can save water — if used wisely. I will only run the dishwasher when it’s full and skip the pre-rinse to reduce water and energy use. If I don't have a dishwasher, I will turn off the tap as often as possible while washing dishes.

Changing dishwashing habits made me more mindful of water use by realizing how much water I was using without even thinking about it. instead of leaving the Tap running, I became more mindful by turning it off while scrubbing and using a filled sink when possible. It showed me that small actions can add up and make a bg difference over time. This helped me become more aware of water. as a limited resource not something unlimited or automatic. It made me more intentional In other areas of my routine too. other. small changes I can make include shorter showers, turning off the tap while brushing my teeth or washing my my face, and only running full loads of laundry or dishes. Overall, it taught me that conserving water starts with everyday habits.

A biodiversity hotspot ive explored. is the Tropical Andes in South America. Its important to protect extremely high number of unique species found nowhere else especially plants, birds, and amphibians. its Also under pressure from deforestation, farming and climate change. Protecting it connects to global resilience because healthy ecosystems help regulate climate, store carbon and maintain. water supplies. The Andes also feed. major river systems that millions of people rely on, so conserving it supports both wildlife and human communities far beyond the region.

Exercising each day has helped improve my physical and mental resilience because I have more energy, strength, and confidence in myself. It also helps me release stress and deal with emotions like anger in a healthier way. It has even helped me cope with not smoking and not drinking by giving me something positive to focus on and look forward to. I usually do stretching, walking, back workouts, and use the StairMaster in my apartment gym because it helps me sweat the most and feel more active. Overall, I feel more confident and Alice, and I'm proud of the progress I'm making. I'm going to continue to add physical exercise in my daily life.
