I have been a vegetarian/vegan all my life. I consume dairy sometimes, but most days I am vegan. Many might say that I don't know what I am missing out on (meaning meat), but I find the taste of plant-based foods wholesome, refreshing, and nourishing. For my husband who eats meat, I always like to cook delicious vegetarian recipes which help him swap out meat for veggie - one meal at a time. And I love to treat my friends to vegetarian delicacies too. Cutting out meat has several health benefits too. You are What You Eat: Twins edition is a good Netflix docuseries that does an apples-to-apples comparison between the health impacts of a vegan vs meat eater's diet.
