An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money? What patterns did you notice in the food you threw away, and how can you address them?
I started buying less berries and more apples and pears. The berries spoiled more quickly and with the apples and pears I have more time before they go bad.

i didn't even think of this! i saw an instagram reel about how to store different fruits and they said your should store lemons in a jar of water to preserve their longevity? I'd never heard of this but your post reminded me of it!
