When I go shopping, I will be sure to bring my own bags to reduce waste and the chance that plastic bags could find their way into wildlife habitats.

Typically, our conversations are light and silly and a way to unwind, but we also talk about heavier topics like difficulties with our relationships with our parents and the struggles she's facing with her mother who is currently in hospice care. Having these conversations keeps our friendship strong even across states and time zones. -

Anne Poelker 4/01/2025 6:27 AMI am actively researching models of weather alert radios to keep in the house in the event of more severe storms like we have had recently. I also keep an oil lamp and candles in the house in case of a nighttime power outage. -
