Thank you to everyone who posted to the feed so that we could learn more than what we learned in doing our own research. It was also nice to see what people were doing to help take care of Mother Earth.

Today I had a discussion with a younger family member. We learned that we both recycle and reuse as much as posable. He was glad to hear that I'm getting better with my indoor plants and that I added 2 more today. He didn't realize that I would have to get a bunch more plant to really help clean our indoor air. He said he would start giving his used batteries so that I can take them to my place of employment where we have a battery recycling program. He loves being outside and will go for walks when he can. He likes being in nature to help clear his mind and reset.

It gives me hope that my children and grandchildren will have a clean earth to enjoy as they get older. I'm hopeful that the emerging leaders will find new ways of producing products that can be recycled instead of being tossed into a landfill especially since I live near one. Not only does the smell come our way when the wind shifts, but the large trucks mess up the roads, too.
