Dishwashers can save water — if used wisely. I will only run the dishwasher when it’s full and skip the pre-rinse to reduce water and energy use. If I don't have a dishwasher, I will turn off the tap as often as possible while washing dishes.

    In Emerson Manila, we learned about how to do urban gardening with WWF. There are plants that can work together to bear fruit /vegetables, and keep pests away! No need for unsafe pesticides!

    Earth Month Friday! Today I watered my plants which I have had since the pandemic. I also shared to my colleagues that I will give them some plant cuttings and taught them how to make the roots grow. I am excited for their plant journey!

    I have some cat toys that my cat doesn't like. They are too and cost less than the shipping fee. I opted to give some of my toys to my friend who also has cats. Sharing changes the dynamics because it helps bring people closer and gives the feeling that there is enough for everyone as long as there is kindness.

    I am feeling good about Ecochallenge. I've been getting better sleep ever since I haven't been on my phone as much after dinner time. I use the time instead to journal and plan the next day.

    Before I buy a new item I try reflectto if it’s a need or a want. I collected all my old usb wires and tested which ones still work. I will drop the nonworking ones in the e-waste disposal soon.
