Health and Well-Being
Exercise Daily
Daily movement supports our physical and mental health. I will spend 15 minutes each day exercising in a way that feels good to me, such as walking, running, stretching, or dancing.
Community and Connection
Support Local Businesses
Supporting local businesses helps keep communities vibrant and resilient. I will choose to shop at 1 local businesses or restaurants, with a focus on businesses owned by people of color, local farmers, or community members.
Land, Water, and Air
Collect Rain Water
Rainwater collection reduces water waste and supports gardens. I will install a rain barrel or collect rainwater to use for 2 outdoor tasks, such as watering plants or cleaning.
Health and Well-Being
Replace a Product
Small changes can make a big difference for health and sustainability. Using what I learned from auditing ingredients in the products I use, I will replace 2 toxic or harmful products I use with safer, eco-friendly alternatives.
Health and Well-Being
Meditate
Meditation helps build resilience and clarity. I will spend 10 minutes each day to meditate or create a moment of silence each day to reflect on things important to me.
Sustainable Innovation
Choose a Product Made with Sustainable Materials
Every choice matters. I will purchase or switch to products made from sustainable or recycled materials to support innovation and reduce environmental impact.
Sustainable Innovation
Conduct a Plastics Audit
Reducing plastic use starts with awareness, and there are amazing innovations in materials to replace plastic! I will conduct an audit of the plastic products I use daily and identify items I can replace with sustainable alternatives.
Health and Well-Being
Enjoy Fruits and Veggies
Adding fruits and vegetables to our meals nourishes our body and the planet. I will prepare and enjoy 2 servings of a variety of colorful fruits and veggies.
Wildlife
Donate to Support Wildlife
There are many amazing projects supporting wildlife and their habitats. I will choose a project or organization to support that helps species and habitats I care about and make a donation.

REFLECTION QUESTIONSustainable InnovationWhat surprised you most about the amount or types of plastic you use daily? What sustainable alternatives are you excited to try, and how do you think they’ll reduce your plastic waste?
Camille Pedranza 4/16/2025 3:11 AMWhat surprised me is the substantial volume of plastics we tend to accumulate even out of small things like in food packaging, plastic water bottles, etc. Using alternatives such as reusable containers, tumblers, reusable bags eliminate the need for single-use plastic. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity and ConnectionWhat did you learn about the businesses or owners you supported? How does shopping locally contribute to a more vibrant and resilient community?
Camille Pedranza 4/11/2025 5:30 AMBought some pechay and tomatoes from a local store in the community earlier today. It was heart-warming to see my neighbors laughing while chit chatting with the store owner and other buyers. Indeed, local shops provide opportunities for social interaction and community building. -
Camille Pedranza 4/10/2025 6:22 PMSummer is peak season for a wide variety of fruits. Did you know that fruit peels offer a sustainable and eco-friendly way to enrich soil and promote plant growth? Our family has a mini compost pile at home. Since we love eating fruits & veggies, we make it a point to chop peels into small pieces and add them to the compost pile and then boom :) we have our own organic fertilizer to help nourish our mini garden. -

Camille Pedranza 4/07/2025 5:27 PMCleaning helps me de-stress and have that calm feeling. I've recently switched to eco-friendly cleaning and laundry products, and I'm loving the fresh scent with lack of strong chemicals. Their product line emphasizes sustainability and eco-consciousness, using plant-based and biodegradable formulations and low-waste packaging. Highly recommended! (PS: this is not a paid advertisement, just happy to share =p)-

Camille Pedranza 4/02/2025 12:20 AMWhenever our team is on RTO, we make it a point to find ways to contribute to the energy conservation drive of the organization by turning off the lights and instead maximize the use of natural light - opening blinds during the day. Also turning off the switch in the workstation before leaving the area. Simple steps but with impact. -
Camille Pedranza 4/01/2025 6:13 AMToday is the 1st day of the ecochallenge & my 3rd year of being part of it! I got the chance to enjoy the 5km walk-run earlier today since it's holiday in PH. After that grab my malunggay pandesal from the local bakery. 😁
