Dishwashers can save water — if used wisely. I will only run the dishwasher when it’s full and skip the pre-rinse to reduce water and energy use. If I don't have a dishwasher, I will turn off the tap as often as possible while washing dishes.

    I talked to my Grandpa because he already had an emergency kit. In the kit I put canned food that wouldn't expire and a gallon of water. I also put a blanket, flashlight, and a radio.

    I found it challenging at first but it gradually got easier. After meditation I was more aware of my surroundings and had a sense of clarity.

    I researched brands that used sustainable food packaging and promoted these brands by talking about them with my friends and family. I believe that better food packaging will reduce waste and lead to less trash that is not recyclable.

    I chose clothes that were more sustainable. I researched to find more sustainable clothing and I have committed to only purchasing sustainable clothing from now on.

    I don't personally farm but I can raise awareness about regenerative agriculture. I learned that regenerative agriculture is a farming method that helps restore the ecosystem and sustainable methods like crop rotation, no till farming, and contour plowing.

    I learned how to be a better tourist. To be respectful with nature I can not litter, support national parks, and use eco-friendly businesses/tours.

    To help pollinators thrive I will plant more flowering plants and not use any pesticides. Pollinators help plants and are essential to an ecosystem.

    People may not adhere to the Leave No Trace because of the minimal effort and inconvenience it can cause. My personal experience went well and I picked up trash at the beach when I went on a run. I didn't see anyone else doing the same.

    I set out three buckets outside but it hasn't rained in a while. Once it does rain I will water the indoor plants in my household.
