Personal
Reduce Refined Sugar
Cutting back on refined sugar can improve energy, mood, and overall health. I will limit my intake of sugary snacks and drinks by reducing refined sugar in meals or snacks each day.
What is resilience?
Learn About Biodiversity and Resilience
Diversity builds strength in ecosystems. I will spend 10 minutes learning how biodiversity helps nature adapt to change and maintain balance.
Personal
Enjoy Fruits and Veggies
Eating a wide variety of colorful fruits and vegetables is a simple way to boost our personal health and support a more resilient food system. I will prepare and enjoy 2 servings of fruits and vegetables each day.
Soil and Food
Grow Something to Eat
Growing food builds resilience by connecting us to the soil and reducing reliance on long supply chains. I will grow edible plants—such as herbs, vegetables, or grains—in my home, balcony, or community space, strengthening both my food security and local biodiversity.
Water
Understand My Water Footprint
Each of us has a water footprint, directly linked to our daily activities as well as the water required in the production of things we use each day. Understanding our water use is important for a healthy planet. I will calculate my water footprint and look for a few ways I can reduce consumption or waste, then share what I learned on the feed.

REFLECTION QUESTIONSoil and FoodWhat did you decide to grow, and how did it feel to start (or care for) your plants? What connections did it give you to soil or food resilience?
Tatiana Ostrik 4/26/2026 9:45 PMI decided to grow some potatoes, and it felt really good to get this started because I have been wanting to plant some old potatoes that started sprouting for a while. This made me connect to food resilience because now I won't have to buy potatoes in a couple months! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonalHow does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet? What fruits or vegetables did you try this week, and which was your favorite?
Tatiana Ostrik 4/22/2026 10:06 PMEating more fruits and veggies helps with my health and makes me feel more refreshed and it reduces the amount of plastic packaging I consume. This week, I had grapes, tomatoes, salad, cucumber, pomegranate juice and more! My favorite was pomegranate juice.
