Studies have shown that when we spend consistent time in nature, our health improves, our creativity increases, and our connection to the planet gets stronger. Each day of the Ecochallenge, I will spend 30 minutes outside (in a large or small patch of nature), then share my observations, reflections, and learnings on the feed.

    Every day I try to take a short walk - it's good for you! Yesterday, I went 15m out, and 15m back. I took a trash bag with me to deliver on my commitment to clean up my neighborhood. I live out in the country, on a winding, dirt road that has no outlet. We're a relatively small community in between Bastrop and Lockhart outside of Austin, TX.

    Y'all. I picked up over 5lbs of trash in that short walk!! People are gross. We need to do better at holding each other accountable for a clean environment!
