Learn to Be a Responsible Pet Owner
Being a responsible pet owner means minimizing the impact pets have on wildlife by keeping them indoors, never setting them 'free' into nature, and supervising pets when they are outside to prevent them from hunting or disturbing wild animals. This also keeps our pets safe from harm. I will spend 61 minutes learning about ways to ensure my pet’s behavior and care practices protect local wildlife and their ecosystems.
Health and Well-Being
Audit Toxic Products in my Home
Many common products contain harmful chemicals. I will spend 60 minutes researching chemicals found in products I use, and I will make a list of products I'd like to replace with safer options.
Health and Well-Being
Learn About Emergency Preparedness
Being prepared can save lives during extreme weather. I will spend 30 minutes learning about the most common weather risks in my area and the steps I can take to stay safe, such as signing up for local alerts or identifying nearby shelters.
Health and Well-Being
Reduce Refined Sugar
Cutting back on refined sugar can improve energy, mood, and overall health. I will limit my intake of sugary snacks and drinks by reducing refined sugar in meals or snacks each day.
Health and Well-Being
Explore Resources for Managing Anxiety
Anxiety can be overwhelming, but resources and strategies can help. I will spend 60 minutes exploring resources that help manage anxiety and stress to support my mental and psychological well being.
Health and Well-Being
Replace a Product
Small changes can make a big difference for health and sustainability. Using what I learned from auditing ingredients in the products I use, I will replace 5 toxic or harmful products I use with safer, eco-friendly alternatives.
Health and Well-Being
Declutter and Donate
Decluttering can reduce stress and benefit others. I will declutter my home and donate items I no longer need to support others in my community.
