Use a Reusable Water Bottle

It's estimated over a billion water bottles are thrown away each year. Even if they were recycled, that still uses energy and resources from the earth. I will use a reusable bottle and stop purchasing bottled water, saving 1 disposable plastic bottle(s) a day.

Was on vaca early in month and didn't get a chance to fully participate. Not sure if it counts, but I bought a composter -- the manual non-electric kind with worms. This weekend continuing effort of converting a plot of land adjacent my house (separate plat) to bee and wild-life habitat (i.e., removing the lawn). About that: it's great the Bank does this campaign. Applause. As regards habitat... would be great if it undertook a similar approach with its own real estate! I see too many "this lawn's been chemically treated" signs. ;)
