Use Reusable Bags

Plastic bags do not always end up in landfills and if they aren't properly disposed of. In nature, they can be mistaken for food by many wild animals and harm wildlife. When I go shopping, I will be sure to bring my own bags to reduce waste and the chance that plastic bags could find their way into wildlife habitats.

Joined a group on a hike to Vetter Mountain

I met up with a hiking group on Meetup on Saturday, April 5 and hiked to Vetter Mountain and back in Angeles National Forest. The length was 9.6 miles and took over 4 hours to complete.

    Would anyone in Southern California like to join me on a 3-4 mile hike this Sunday, April 13 or next Sunday, April 20? I will be going to Crystal Cove Park, but parking on the north side, which is FREE. Here is a photo from last weekend where you could see Catalina and San Clemente Islands.

    Completed a hike to Vetter Mountain in Angeles National Forest on April 5th with a hiking group on Meetup. We completed the 9.6 mile out and back in just over 4 hours.

    Starting on January 1, 2025, I started a Mediterranean diet and have been trying to eat more and more veggies and fruits. For breakfast each day I have a smoothie with cherries, peaches, kale, spinach, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, pomegranates, and bananas. At lunch I have a salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, hummus, and carrots.
